Penang Hawker ~ Malaysian - Campsie

It's the noodles that are the pick of Penang Hawker, Malaysian Chinese in Campsie. The char and smoke of the famous food town comes through most vividly in their fried kuey teow, chuck in a duck egg for extra googie goodness.

Singapura Eating House ~ Singaporean / Malaysian - Darlinghurst

Last time we dipped into Singapura Eating House it was awash with body builders fueling up on chicken rice. While the newer Darlo location is still just around the corner from the gym, we do our best to avoid the barbells and instead carb load as many noodles as we can and waddle home.

We play Malacca Straits roulette, eating a different hawker style dish every day until we get a dud. Well, that dud dish never came after fourteen visits, so we declare Malacca Straits the winner.

Flemington Khai's Restaurant ~ Chinese Malaysian - Homebush West - [CLOSED]

We've been on a three-week Malaysian bender yet we're still hungry for more makan. So we head out to Homebush West to try Flemington Khai's Restaurant, a joint that's been on our eat list for quite some time. Then we waddle over to Strathfield checking out the food options as we go, ending with the goodness of Hello Happy Korean cafe.
