Wonton Noodle Inn Review # 2 ~ Chinese - King Street Newtown
For when too much Chinese food is barely enough.
We've just returned from a week long feeding frenzy in Hong Kong yet we crave chinese noodle soup, a gentle comedown from our holiday high. So it's off to Wonton Noodle up the road in King Street Newtown.
I'm up for a fishcake wonton noodle soup, clean, plain and simple. Rehydrating. Wonton Noodle Inn does a fantastic broth.
Miss Chicken is a big fan of the stewed beef noodle soup. The beef is very tender, it tastes like it has been cooked for hours, it probably has. The wontons have a lovely peppery kick.
This is place is a little bit of Hong Kong in Newtown, I love sitting out the back and watching Chinese soap operas.
Won Ton Noodle in at 153 King Street, Newtown, right next the Marlborough Hotel. See our previous post for Wonton Noodle Inn.
